Here in Cape Town the surf was high and wonderful on Sunday ...Just as well as the surf carnival was planned for this week-end and so the beach was packed with all ages and all sizes of surf boards and their riders to show the mastership of riding and mastering the waves
An anticipation of the spectators watching on the beach to be thrilled by man and waves as one unit of action
The Joy of being a witness to all that energy in action again and again diving, tumbling, surviving when the power of water took charge....
And all returning over and over again to the ocean, because certainly the next wave would be the greatest to conquer. An inspiration to join, to watch this total dedication of man and his board to rise up in an instant of pure joy mastering that wave and ride into a new world.
