Mind is not a wanderer by nature

Would you remain within your tiny kingdom, a sorry king, a bitter ruler of all that he surveys, who looks on nothing yet who would still die to defend it?

The minds thirst for happiness is like a bee searching for honey in the flowers it will dart about untill it finds the flower and aligns on it. It has found what it is designed to seek.

And so my mind will seek for that place of rest as that is what it is designed to do. Only in God does it remember its rest and is home.

An untrained mind can accomplish nothing and so the daily lessons of the workbook are its directive impulse:" I Rest In God"

The power of decision is then an action again and again to bring the mind as a mechanism of decision to return to that simple idea, and then by the grace of God, mind stays where it belongs and functions perfectly in all stuations, events, circumstances from that point of rest.

(lesson 188) We take our wandering thoughts, and gently bring them back to where they fall in line with all the thoughts we share with God. We will not let them stray. We let the light within our minds direct them to come home.

We have betrayed them, ordering that they depart from us. But now we call them back, and wash them clean of strange desires and disordered wishes. We restore to them the holiness of their inheritance.

And thus he wanders aimlessly about, in search of something that he cannot find, believing that he is what he is not.God's Son is indeed in need of comfort, for he knows not what he does, believing his will is not his own. The Kingdom is his, and yet he wanders homeless.

At home in God he is lonely, and amid all his brothers he is friendless. Would God let this be real, when He did not will to be alone Himself? And if your will is His it cannot be true of you, because it is not true of Him.

Cape Town an amazing diversity

The colored people here in Cape Town are amazingly cheerful. While walking everyone will great you with a nod. In the trains conversations are at a pitch it is impolite to whisper.

They shake hands solemly when anyone enters they know, which looks like everyone..

The babies are so adorable hanging in a wrapping at the back of their mother and taking it all in their stride. Boredom and dullness are not part of their stories, and each one seems to know everyone they greet and laugh as if part of an imense family.

The trains are an endless entertainment, singers walk through from wagon to wagon, and the sellers of ice-cream, drinks and chips are amazing how they balance their wares while the train rattles on ...

Taxis are mini busses and at intersections the co-driver shouts the destination which amazes me as I have no idea what it is, but people run and get in...

I take one of those mini-busses sometimes to sea-point as I know where to catch it ..the trick is that they prefer a full bus before departing, and just when you think no other body fits possible, no they squash another one in.... money is the ruling factor.

God be your life – then It lives, acts, performs, and IS your very being.

Unless A Course in Miracles startles me, something to open my eyes to a past ideas of a mistake, something to lead me into a higher or a deeper contact with God, then this book is not going to serve my purpose and function

Not the known but the unknown is the disrupted element.

The points that are familiar to me are not nearly as important as those things that are strange because it is in those strange moments of loosing my identity that I find the specific parts of the message that are the most helpful to me.

It is with a sense of total anticipation that I open this message of myself to Myself to be inspired, a new day is born, a new world waiting to be acknowledged.

The quiet light in which the Holy Spirit dwells within you is merely perfect openness, in which nothing is hidden and therefore nothing is fearful.

Attack will always yield to love if it is brought to love, not hidden from it. There is no darkness that the light of love will not dispel, unless it is concealed from love's beneficence.

What is kept apart from love cannot share its healing power, because it has been separated off and kept in darkness. The sentinels of darkness watch over it carefully, and you who made these guardians of illusion out of nothing are now afraid of them.



Would you continue to give imagined power to these strange ideas of safety? They are neither safe nor unsafe.
 
They do not protect; neither do they attack. They do nothing at all, being nothing at all. As guardians of darkness and of ignorance look to them only for fear, for what they keep obscure is fearful.
 
But let them go, and what was fearful will be so no longer.
 
Without protection of obscurity only the light of love remains, for only this has meaning and can live in light. Everything else must disappear.

The point of contact with God

The memory of God, as Myself lies awaiting my usage in each instant of space/time.

Actively this memory in its majesty is a present condition like a constant invitation to accept myself as I Am.

A miracle impulse that I cannot loose.

A wondeful idea given us as Teachers of God, Is this one from : "Is Reincarnation so"

Atonement might be equated with total escape from the past and total lack of interest in the future. Heaven is here. There is nowhere else. Heaven is now."

Fear is the condition of myself in the belief of space/time, I am not always aware that I am in fear, and so how can I not be grateful when the awareness of fear returns into my awareness to accept its responsibility and experience the joy of freedom. Love Is letting go of fear.

( chapter 12) This is what recognizing fear really means. If you do not protect it, He will reinterpret it. That is the ultimate value in learning to perceive attack as a call for love.

We have already learned that fear and attack are inevitably associated. If only attack produces fear, and if you see attack as the call for help that it is, the unreality of fear must dawn on you.

For fear is a call for love, in unconscious recognition of what has been denied.

Fear is a symptom of your own deep sense of loss. If when you perceive it in others you learn to supply the loss, the basic cause of fear is removed.
 
Thereby you teach yourself that fear does not exist in you. The means for removing it is in yourself, and you have demonstrated this by giving it. Fear and love are the only emotions of which you are capable.

it is the understanding and feeling behind the words that constitute the power.

My Father knows what I have need of before I do.

The Philosopher Teilhard de Chardin once declared: "Always pray in the certainty that you have received already"

How simple and beautifull is a simple prayer of 'Thanks' for all the happenings in this journey of self-awareness, a constant realization in gratitude for all that is given.

 Resurrection is a reawakening or a rebirth; a change of mind about the meaning of the world. An action of mind in remembering our purpose and function, and in that the Holy Spirit will ever smooth all that seems to delay this great awakening.

The prayer for things of this world will bring experiences of this world. If the prayer of the heart asks for this, this will be given because this will be received.

It is impossible that the prayer of the heart remain unanswered in the perception of the one who asks. If he asks for the impossible, if he wants what does not exist or seeks for illusions in his heart, all this becomes his own.

The power of his decision offers it to him as he requests. Herein lie hell and Heaven. The sleeping Son of God has but this power left to him. It is enough. His words do not matter.

Only the Word of God has any meaning, because it symbolizes that which has no human symbols at all. The Holy Spirit alone understands what this Word stands for. And this, too, is enough.

The Presence and Power of God

Each day when I sit by the river here in Cape Town I am aware of the presence and power of God. And Join In.

Each Day I Am a witness to a renewing action of the power of God, ever present in all the forms of nature.

 Its flow of water, the gentle movements of the leaves on the trees, the pelikaan floating past, fish jumping high, the wide variety of birds and butterflies, demonstrating the God Is Love.

A memory returns again and again of that immense Love that I cannot be without. Its strenght a joy to behold.

What can worry the Son when His Father is calling in all the forms of this dream to remember Him.

The children of God are entitled to the perfect comfort that comes from perfect trust. Until they achieve this, they waste themselves and their true creative powers on useless attempts to make themselves more comfortable by inappropriate means.

But the real means are already provided, and do not involve any effort at all on their part. The Atonement is the only gift that is worthy of being offered at the altar of God, because of the value of the altar itself. It was created perfect and is entirely worthy of receiving perfection.

God and His creations are completely dependent on each other. He depends on them because He created them perfect. He gave them His peace so they could not be shaken and could not be deceived.

Whenever you are afraid you are deceived, and your mind cannot serve the Holy Spirit. This starves you by denying you your daily bread. God is lonely without His Sons, and they are lonely without Him.

They must learn to look upon the world as a means of healing the separation. The Atonement is the guarantee that they will ultimately succeed.

Decisions are continuous.

A movie once was called " To Catch a Thief" an interesting idea, because I catch myself robbing myself of 'Peace of Mind' 

We as teachers of God read in our Course in Miracles that if we are not vigilant, actively aware, we are an opening to the thief of time.

In time a voice calls me to examine ideas and be caught in the web of the past in the hope there is some value left, some reward...Nice Try ha ha!

The value of the past is that it is gone, but it is truly a greater picture it brought me to the awareness who I Am right Now!

How else did I realize a greater power present, guiding me to travel through memories and landing in the sunshine of the Peace of God.

Now I am actively aware of the continous decisions of the Holy Spirit This power instantly transforms all situations into one sure and continuous means for establishing His purpose, and demonstrating its reality.

Everyone experiences fear. Yet it would take very little right-thinking to realize why fear occurs. Few appreciate the real power of the mind, and no one remains fully aware of it all the time.

However, if you hope to spare yourself from fear there are some things you must realize, and realize fully.

The mind is very powerful, and never loses its creative force. It never sleeps. Every instant it is creating. It is hard to recognize that thought and belief combine into a power surge that can literally move mountains.

It appears at first glance that to believe such power about yourself is arrogant, but that is not the real reason you do not believe it.

You prefer to believe that your thoughts cannot exert real influence because you are actually afraid of them.

This may allay awareness of the guilt, but at the cost of perceiving the mind as impotent. If you believe that what you think is ineffectual you may cease to be afraid of it, but you are hardly likely to respect it.

There are no idle thoughts. All thinking produces form at some level.

Joy is a unifying attribute

No one can be left outside when Joy becomes our condition of self-awareness as Teachers of God, in its action, a vibration that is itself a joining force.

Whether on the beach and see the play of children in the sand, the waves in which they roll and tumble, the sparkle of the sun on the water, the seagulls diving for their meal, the clouds floating past, all of it speaks of the Creator's Joy

Salvation is a game that happy children play. Unless I first recognize in all my memories the Love of God how could I know who I Am?

And so this seeming journey unfolding in this dream of space/time is a joyfull experience of inclussion, a joyous homecoming.

God only gives and that idea sustains me in all its aspects, degrees and interval in which I seem to travel.

The joy of Heaven, which has no limit, is increased with each light that returns to take its rightful place within it. Wait no longer, for the Love of God and you.

And may the holy instant speed you on the way, as it will surely do if you but let it come to you.



The Holy Spirit asks only this little help of you: Whenever your thoughts wander to a special relationship which still attracts you, enter with Him into a holy instant, and there let Him release you.

He needs only your willingness to share His perspective to give it to you completely. And your willingness need not be complete because His is perfect.

It is His task to atone for your unwillingness by His perfect faith, and it is His faith you share with Him there. Out of your recognition of your unwillingness for your release, His perfect willingness is given you.

Call upon Him, for Heaven is at His call. And let Him call on Heaven for you.(chapter 16)

Teacher and Pupil

It is not arrogance to declare myself as a teacher of God. The classroom after all in which I find myself are my own memories of the past. My world

I am responsible.Who else could take them again from the inspiration of the hands of the Holy Spirit and see them in a new Light, the corrected idea from the idea of a mistake.

In the new Light,  I touch the world of all its forms, I touch all those I meet with the Love of God.

If I let the past touch me, tell me who I am, I am ever wrestling with the fear that made the past seem to be real.

Each day is a perfect design to again remember cause and effect, and that God only gives.

When pupil and teacher come together, a teaching-learning situation begins.

For the teacher is not really the one who does the teaching. God's Teacher speaks to any two who join together for learning purposes. The relationship is holy because of that purpose, and God has promised to send His Spirit into any holy relationship.

In the teaching-learning situation, each one learns that giving and receiving are the same. The demarcations they have drawn between their roles, their minds, their bodies, their needs, their interests, and all the differences they thought separated them from one another, fade and grow dim and disappear.

Those who would learn the same course share one interest and one goal. And thus he who was the learner becomes a teacher of God himself, for he has made the one decision that gave his teacher to him.

He has seen in another person the same interests as his own.

The Sun you bring

  

Being on a beautifull white sandy beach and watching the sun setting is a powerfull experience of the Love and Peace of God.
In that stillness of shear majesty one can only give sincere 'Thanks' that the day has been fulfilled as Gods plan.

I became aware of a timeless presence that communicated its Love for all, no matter where each individual was in its awareness in that this instant, it gave abundantly a message of peace and harmony.

The endless movements of the waves rolled on, as a sound travelling around the universe an echo of the voice for God.
A blessing to all man that all is taken care of and as Teachers of God we are the wittness ever actively present in its extension


Do not accept this little, fenced-off aspect as yourself. The sun and ocean are as nothing beside what you are.

The sunbeam sparkles only in the sunlight, and the ripple dances as it rests upon the ocean. Yet in neither sun nor ocean is the power that rests in you.

Would you remain within your tiny kingdom, a sorry king, a bitter ruler of all that he surveys, who looks on nothing yet who would still die to defend it?

This little self is not your kingdom. Arched high above it and surrounding it with love is the glorious whole, which offers all its happiness and deep content to every part.

The little aspect that you think you set apart is no exception.

Everything is Illuminated

In the movie " Everything is Illuminated " Jonathan is landing in the location he searched for, a wall of memories. All neatly arranged in tiny bags are the objects of the past on display.

An immense collection of ideas that gave his aunt a purpose, for herself, that in fact her family members where still there, all of them, there was the proof they had existed.

For Jonathan in his journey of searching for his past it was a amazing experience and for me as well watching the movie as a story of illumination.

 Finally Jonathan is told upon being given a ring from his grand-mother, that he exists to find this very ring.

I realized that my memories were hidden seemingly within and that by seeing all these past episodes on the wall it would be an instant glance and recognition, an awakening, and happy recognition that all is well the past is over and freedom is a reality.

 Atonement is Healing and seeing all memories as the accomplished journey that never was.

An empty storehouse, with an open door, holds all your shreds of memories and dreams.

Yet if you are the dreamer, you perceive this much at least: That you have caused the dream, and can accept another dream as well. But for this change in content of the dream, it must be realized that it is you who dreamed the dreaming that you do not like.

It is but an effect that you have caused, and you would not be cause of this effect. In dreams of murder and attack are you the victim in a dying body slain.

But in forgiving dreams is no one asked to be the victim and the sufferer. These are the happy dreams the miracle exchanges for your own. It does not ask you make another; only that you see you made the one you would exchange for this.(chapter 28)

A Game we Play

At last we as teachers of God can look upon the world as a game we play happily.

I look at all the ideas in forms and are reminded I am always looking at myself. Like a gigantic mirror lowered by the Universe to show me who I am.

All its peoples and structures of space and time revolve like a chamelon for my happiness. Space and time simply being my interpretation of my observation, at times slow at time fast.

I stretch it or collapse it, in its naming and categorizing, a memory pattern that ever returns to be accepted.

And Now I am Aware, I am that movement and play its game in surprise I did not see the Love of God in all.

Salvation can be thought of as a game that happy children play. It was designed by One Who loves His children, and Who would replace their fearful toys with joyous games, which teach them that the game of fear is gone.

His game instructs in happiness because there is no loser. Everyone who plays must win, and in his winning is the gain to everyone ensured.

The game of fear is gladly laid aside, when children come to see the benefits salvation brings.

Teacher and pupil are alike in the learning process.

The manual for Teachers is a majestic script, a tool to be used. Do not leave home without it. Keep it handy and close by in the journey of space/time.

This splendid message, represents an unfolding, a Light to call from yourself to yourself to remember who you are.

 The manual for teachers is a practical guide and guidance ever insipring us to remember our joy and happiness in the role for which we where chosen.

Page by page are the ideas presented; to be inspired in which we find the purpose and function of our mind as the mechanism of decisions in clarity and peace to do what we are asked to do.

When we do see ourself simultaneously as teacher and learner no conflict can be long to haunt us, there is an immediate freedom present, a vigilance to our true environment. The Kingdom of Heaven.

Teaching and learning are your greatest strengths now, because they enable you to change your mind and help others to change theirs.

Refusing to change your mind will not prove that the separation has not occurred. The dreamer who doubts the reality of his dream while he is still dreaming is not really healing his split mind.

You dream of a separated ego and believe in a world that rests upon it. This is very real to you.

You cannot undo it by not changing your mind about it. If you are willing to renounce the role of guardian of your thought system and open it to me, I will correct it very gently and lead you back to God.

The circles of Light

To be together with like minds in the joy of the awakening message of a Course in Miracles is an experience of Light, an expansion of self-realization, an ever increasing adventure of renewing our world.

We come together as equals and from that acceptance we lift the ideas from the pages of our Course in Miracles with our voice, to remember again the timeless presence of the peace of God.

When you are restored to the recognition of your original state, you naturally become part of the Atonement yourself. and full communication is rememberd. What had been lost has now been found.

The circle of creation has no end. Its starting and its ending are the same. But in itself it holds the universe of all creation, without beginning and without an end.

Fatherhood is creation. Love must be extended. Purity is not confined. It is the nature of the innocent to be forever uncontained, without a barrier or limitation. Thus is purity not of the body. Nor can it be found where limitation is. (chapter 28)

Power and Beauty

This space called Cape Town is an ever changing vista of colors and vibrations of light.

In the past when ships had to round cape-point it was an experience of battle with the tide, the wind and the waves.

It was known as a grave-yard, and when looking at this diplay of the curents swirling endlessly around the rocks, one is amazed at the strenght, beauty, and power.

The clouds that are rolling and tumbling over these mountains are of majestic shapes and sizes and are awesome in their action.

Table top mountain is a space that oozes a vibration that while walking around its vegetation is a restoring experience. a joining with thousands of years waiting to give this power and beauty to anyone willing to receive its majesty

 (acim, chapter7) When a mind has only light, it knows only light. Its own radiance shines all around it, and extends out into the darkness of other minds, transforming them into majesty.

The Majesty of God is there, for you to recognize and appreciate and know. Recognizing the Majesty of God as your brother is to accept your own inheritance.

God gives only equally. If you recognize His gift in anyone, you have acknowledged what He has given you.

Nothing is so easy to recognize as truth. This is the recognition that is immediate, clear and natural.

Alone and full of memories

Must be a contradiction in terms, my memories are my children and returning home.The fast field of Light and Love as my potential, children of my will.

A Course in Miracles In the forgiven dream says this:" Hear, then, your story in the dream you made, and ask yourself if it be not the truth that you believe that it is not a dream.

It is my dream, and how can I be afraid of my story? I now stand in that awareness that each day all that needs to be experienced again will come to me, I rest in that certainty.

Awakening is a story told twice, first I tell it in limitation, boxed in space/time, a narrowness that becomes more and more painfull, now in full awareness I tell it again and set the memories free, in that I am the Holy Spirit in action.

And I see clearly I Am not alone, ever more aware of how connected I Am with every living thing, each fragment that returns in splendor of self-recognition.

A dream of judgment came into the mind that God created perfect as Himself. And in that dream was Heaven changed to hell, and God made enemy unto His Son. How can God's Son awaken from the dream? It is a dream of judgment. So must he judge not, and he will waken.

For the dream will seem to last while he is part of it. Judge not, for he who judges will have need of idols, which will hold the judgment off from resting on himself. Nor can he know the Self he has condemned.

Judge not, because you make yourself a part of evil dreams, where idols are your "true" identity, and your salvation from the judgment laid in terror and in guilt upon yourself.

Free will must lead to freedom.

Judgment always imprisons because it separates segments of reality by the unstable scales of desire.

Wishes are not facts. To wish is to imply that willing is not sufficient.

Yet no one in his right mind believes that what is wished is as real as what is willed. Instead of "Seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven" say,

"Will ye first the Kingdom of Heaven," and you have said, "I know what I am and I accept my own inheritance."

Wishing makes real, as surely as does will create. The power of a wish upholds illusions as strongly as does love extend itself. Except that one deludes; the other heals.
There is no dream of specialness, however hidden or disguised the form, however lovely it may seem to be, however much it delicately offers the hope of peace and the escape from pain, in which you suffer not your condemnation.
 
In dreams effect and cause are interchanged, for here the maker of the dream believes that what he made is happening to him.
 
He does not realize he picked a thread from here, a scrap from there, and wove a picture out of nothing.
 
For the parts do not belong together, and the whole contributes nothing to the parts to give them meaning.

Inspiration is for all

To be in spirit and inspire the first instant of the day upon awakening sets the day in the frame of light and happiness

What can befall The Holy Son of God when he remembers His Father and enters in the power of NOW, the certainty that all space/time is already accomplished in God.

He simply becomes the witness in all happenings of his journey on that day that this is the truth.

The past holds no attraction because the love of God is ever greater in my awareness as the only experience I desire with all my heart

Resurrection is ever present in the action of lifting my awareness to an acceptance of myself no matter the form. After all the world is my class room , a gigantic hall of mirrors. I only ever see myself.

The result of genuine devotion is inspiration, a word which properly understood is the opposite of fatigue.

To be fatigued is to be dis-spirited, but to be inspired is to be in the spirit.

To be egocentric is to be dis-spirited, but to be Self-centered in the right sense is to be inspired or in spirit.

The truly inspired are enlightened and cannot abide in darkness. ( chapter 4)












Remember that in prayer the words themselves count for nothing: it is the understanding and feeling behind the words that constitute the power.

Happiness is an attribute of Love

The dream of space and time gives me a daily classroom ro remember that Happiness is my purpose and function.

A thousand forms in all shape and sizes are vying for my atttention to connect, obseve, and judge them, like and endless movie that has no beginning or end.

Happiness is a state of mind that sees that stream of ideas as a beam of Light to ride on, after all it is only and simply a memory of a past long gone.

The Holy Spirit used this memory fully in the instant it was born and NOW returns it all sparkling and bright.

Joy is playing the game of self-recognition, an adventure, each day a new segment of the dream that returns in all its splendor of our reality in the Universe that knows us well.

Happiness is an attribute of love. It cannot be apart from it. Nor can it be experienced where love is not. Love has no limits, being everywhere.

And therefore joy is everywhere as well. Yet can the mind deny that this is so, believing there are gaps in love where sin can enter, bringing pain instead of joy.

This strange belief would limit happiness by redefining love as limited, and introducing opposition in what has no limit and no opposite. (lesson 103)

The Inner action expresses Itself as the outer experience

The movement of remembering God in gratitude is a power always in all ways present.

The action of engaging with God is that instant reprieve from a touch of fear that I am all alone in the Universe.

That certainty that God is never absent, ever ready to receive me in that state of mind called The Kingdom of Heaven.

Sit quietly and close your eyes. The light within you is sufficient. It alone has power to give the gift of sight to you. Exclude the outer world, and let your thoughts fly to the peace within.

They know the way. For honest thoughts, untainted by the dream of worldly things outside yourself, become the holy messengers of God Himself.

lesson 188

Oneness

Oneness is a word representing something immensly wide,  magnificent, and powerful ....A Course in Miracles in lesson 169 gives me this idea: "Oneness is simply the idea God is.

And in His Being, He encompasses all things. No mind holds anything but Him. We say "God is," and then we cease to speak, for in that knowledge words are meaningless.

There are no lips to speak them, and no part of mind sufficiently distinct to feel that it is now aware of something not itself. It has united with its Source.

The glue that binds me together with the organism of space and time, is my own rejection of myself is ever the denial of Oneness, and is the attraction of pain.

Awakening is this ever repeating awareness of how I did not make myself. Lesson 260:" Father, I did not make myself, although in my insanity I thought I did."

This idea is an ever re-assuring gift too remember the idea of acceptance of myself and the fragments of form I believed where outside of myself and now returning to my awareness.

A tremendous freedom.

The splinters of space and time ever revolving in all aspects, degrees and intervals to invite only remembering and acceptance .

The German philospher Heidigger once said that (herrinerung) remembering is the most beautifull word in the language we seem to exist in as the interpretation of my observation.

Beauty is ever present

I am in South Africa and it is a mixture of the colonial past and the new rising everywhere, the latest architecture splendor, among  appalling hovels made of bits and pieces of tin and timber.

But among the hovels,  cheerfull conversations, bright colors, optimism, laughter, children playing with whatever rubble, and woman walking past with parcels on their head that make my knees crumble.

Africa moving from a bloodied past into changing its structure. Every white family has a black maid or two and a black gardener or two....what this space would look like without that is beyond my imagination, a mess I would dare say.

On the beach I must declare the blacks look great, the whites look white including me and not so great.

Public transport is something to behold ...these consist of mini busses that go criss-cross around town and suburbs ..there is a driver and an off-sider who yells where they are going while at full speed .and it works ..the bus stops and fits in another body who must know where the bus is going, like sardins in a tin ...after all it is cheap so the more bodies the more income..

At a petrol station or suprer market a bevy of small boys descend on your car or shopping trolley like ants and take care of everything for a few rand.

With the world cup soccer on next year the City is in a clean up and not before time ...when the council workers start to mowing a park land they mow all rubble as well..I must declare it is highly amusing to see all rubble fragmented into zillions bits ...its kind of a amazing decoration..and who says it should not be done like that!

Consciousness-Force

My individual identity as a separate human being is forever repeating to observe and interpret space and time.

It is designed to do this. The legions of forms I have accepted are now returning in a happy amazement how I ever could have judged them like I did.

There is no purpose in trying to change that repetition, but to be aware of its structure and so no longer be afraid of its mechanism. 

Finally ACIM only ever shows me how my mind in its split condition functions, the message of the course does not judge its formulations, but it does inspire me to recognize and accept it as it happens.

Forgiveness then is freedom. And in that I see I did not make myself, although in my insanity I thought I did.

(acim The structure of "individual consciousness" is essentially irrelevant because it is a concept representing the "original error" or the "original sin."

To study the error itself does not lead to correction, if you are indeed to succeed in overlooking the error.

And it is just this process of overlooking at which the course aims.

No force except your own will is strong enough or worthy enough to guide you.

In this you are as free as God, and must remain so forever.

Let us ask the Father in my name to keep you mindful of His Love for you and yours for Him.

He has never failed to answer this request, because it asks only for what He has already willed.

Those who call truly are always answered. Thou shalt have no other gods before Him because there are none.

Memories

My memories are my potential. If I am afraid of them they cannot return to my awareness, again I reject the only way that these ideas of the past can be religuished in a happy self-discovery.

A Course in Miracles is a key , a tool to see my memories in the Light of the Holy Spirit, these memories no matter what time-frame they occured in and where judged as a mistake, in fact where corrected immediatly.

The only action that was not present was my awareness of its correction, not as a mistake but as a extension of myself.

In chapter 5 I am told:"
To heal is to make happy. I have told you to think how many opportunities you have had to gladden yourself, and how many you have refused.

Now the time has come I am aware of the return of all these memories and see them in the Light that they where waiting to be accepted .

The universe is progressing in a direction toward greater conscious awareness, & self-understanding.

All around us, to right and left, in front and behind, above and below, we have only to go a little beyond the frontier of sensible appearances in order to see the divine welling up and showing through.


But it is not only close to us, in front of us, that the divine presence has revealed itself. It has sprung up universally, and we find ourselves so surrounded and transfixed by it, that there is no room left to fall down and adore it, even within ourselves.

By means of all created things, without exception, the divine assails us, penetrates us and moulds us.
We imagined it as distant and inaccessible, whereas in fact we live steeped in its burning layers.


As Jacob said, awakening from his dream, the world, this palpable world, which we were wont to treat with the boredom and disrespect with which we habitually regard places with no sacred association for us, is in truth a holy place, and we did not know it.

I find his writings meaningful, inspiring in enlightenment that transpires all over this universe.

The past is gone with all its fantasies

The past is over it can touch me not is an idea of great magnitude. I am right now the total sum of all that went before.

How can I not be grateful for events and happenings that made me what I am right now, nothing to add, nothing to take away.

The seeming journey can be desribed as one of ecstasy or agony it brought me to this instant of saying Thank You.

The plan of salvation is a design I can only accept as my own self-remembering.
There are no questions any longer relevant about the past as it made what I Am.

The idea of loss, sacrifice, missed opportunities, badly treated, its successes and faillures it all comes together in an awareness, a magnitude of freedom and peace.

A realization that my Father knows what I need before I do ..I and the Father and I are One.

What is awakening

Awakening is acceptance, a liberation from ideas that are over and gone,  a single experience of self-realization, a joining, and now rememberd as the only action in peace bringing freedom as my true identity.

Awakening is a state of harmony with the Universe-God-Truth-Oneness.

The Presence of God is where God is realized and demonstrated. Where this Power of Love and Light is quietly accepted, as Grace that enters and extends far beyond where I locate myself.

Awakening: I am merely forgetting what I Am not.

This enables me to remember what I Am. Simultaneously exchanging hell for heaven.

Dismiss temptation easily today whenever it arises, merely by remembering the limits of your choice. The unreal or the real, the false or true is what you see and only what you see.

Perception is consistent with your choice, and hell or Heaven comes to you as one.

Accept a little part of hell as real, and you have damned your eyes and cursed your sight, and what you will behold is hell indeed.

Yet the release of Heaven still remains within your range of choice, to take the place of everything that hell would show to you.

All you need say to any part of hell, whatever form it takes, is simply this:

It is impossible to see two worlds. I seek my

freedom and deliverance, and this is not a part

of what I want.

The Ilusion of separate I

The idea of an individual in space/time does not exist.

All frustration of not finding yourself exists because you are not alone and try to find answers that are only designed to reveal when in your brother, your neighbor you see yourself.

A hundred years ago in this dream an individual did not exist, you where part of a village, a tribe, a caste, a clan.

You belonged to a King, a Lord or a Church.

Later on in history many searched for answers just for themselves and in that fragmented idea brought fear and frustration to themselves, as there is no separation from creation.

The plan of salvation is so that only in the action of inclusion of another as yourself will I know who I Am..

The Universe does not know about an I searching for an identity. The universe-God is an ever present action of giving to those that are in the the Will of God of willing to be the receiver and giver simulteneausly ...

( acim) The Golden Rule is the rule for appropriate behavior. You cannot behave appropriately unless you perceive correctly.

Since you and your neighbor are equal members of one family, as you perceive both so you will do to both. You should look out from the perception of your own holiness to the holiness of others.
