Reality belongs only to spirit

Spirit is in a state of grace forever.

Your reality is only spirit.

Therefore you are in a state of grace forever.

Reality belongs only to spirit, and the miracle acknowledges only truth.

Miracles are selective only in the sense that they are directed towards those who can use them for themselves.

Since this makes it inevitable that they will extend them to others, a strong chain of Atonement is welded. However, this selectivity takes no account of the magnitude of the miracle itself, because the concept of size exists on a plane that is itself unreal.

Since the miracle aims at restoring the awareness of reality, it would not be useful if it were bound by laws that govern the error it aims to correct.

Quiet Time

The miracle comes quietly into the mind that stops an instant and is still. It reaches gently from that quiet time, and from the mind it healed in quiet then, to other minds to share its quietness.

And they will join in doing nothing to prevent its radiant extension back into the Mind Which caused all minds to be.

Born out of sharing, there can be no pause in time to cause the miracle delay in hastening to all unquiet minds, and bringing them an instant's stillness, when the memory of God returns to them.

Father-Son-and Holy Spirit

Of all the roles I have played in the dream of space and time, I found never lasting peace.

Now a new symbolism is given me through the ideas of A Course in Miracles that I Am the Son, the Father, and the Holy Spirit, the three names that are One.

They join me back to the idea, the recognition that the separation never occurred.

In accepting these symbols peace and harmony is restored in each instant in which I remember   Them as my reality in the dream of awakening.

Still a dream. A happy dream of simplicity of salvation.

Father and Son and Holy Spirit are as One, as all your brothers join as one in truth. Christ and His Father never have been separate, and Christ abides within your understanding, in the part of you that shares His Father's Will.

The Holy Spirit links the other part - the tiny, mad desire to be separate, different and special - to the Christ, to make the oneness clear to what is really one. In this world this is not understood, but can be taught.

The bridge

Across the bridge is your completion, for you will be wholly in God, willing for nothing special, but only to be wholly like to Him, completing Him by your completion.

Fear not to cross to the abode of peace and perfect holiness. Only there is the completion of God and of His Son established forever. Seek not for this in the bleak world of illusion, where nothing is certain and where everything fails to satisfy.

In the Name of God, be wholly willing to abandon all illusions. In any relationship in which you are wholly willing to accept completion, and only this, there is God completed, and His Son with Him.

At that point the bridge of return has been built.

Quickening

The first 50 review lessons are an experience of quickening our mind, a speed up,  a frame, a scafolding, a safety net, that is needed for a moment to bring a new structure of  ideas into our awareness as teachers of God.

These 50 ideas are designed to lead us out of the idea of the lower mind in which man seems, seems to be imprisoned into a new model od thinking.

Steady our feet, our Father. Let our doubts be quiet and our holy minds be still, and speak to us. We have no words to give to You.

We would but listen to Your Word, and make it ours. Lead our practicing as does a father lead a little child along a way he does not understand.

Yet does he follow, sure that he is safe because his father leads the way for him.

So do we bring our practicing to You. And if we stumble, You will raise us up. If we forget the way, we count upon Your sure remembering.

We wander off, but You will not forget to call us back. Quicken our footsteps now, that we may walk more certainly and quickly unto You.

And we accept the Word You offer us to unify our practicing, as we review the thoughts that You have given us.

The value of the idea of negative

In the condition of the lower mind lies the idea of negativity. This idea is actually much more then worthy of judgment. It is a springboard to self-recognition.

One cannot just value the positive aspects of ones self. One must then be brutally honest and see that these ideas of being positive are the exact opposite of the idea of negativity, and in faxct are a potential to remember who you are.

That is why the recognition of your own invulnerability is so important to the restoration of your sanity.

For if you accept your invulnerability, you are recognizing that attack has no effect. Although you have attacked yourself, you will be demonstrating that nothing really happened.

Therefore, by attacking you have not done anything. Once you realize this you will no longer see any sense in attack, for it manifestly does not work and cannot protect you.

Yet the recognition of your invulnerability has more than negative value. If your attacks on yourself have failed to weaken you, you are still strong. You therefore have no need to "equalize" the situation to establish your strength.

But the time is 'Now'

Suddenly I discover that days have dissappeared, no idea what happened only an awareness of a quickening. Like finding myself in a new dimension.

Here at The Finca out of nowhere seemingly new identities with A Course in Miracles under their arm arrived. Must be like as in the movie kung Fu Panda: "No Mistake" but a great renewing experience for all.

Not only that in the final game of the World Cup Soccer I find myself as the only Dutch born among 25 hot headed Spanish teachers watching the end result between Holland and Spain. A real dramatic dream episode, but total fun for all.

Winners and losers we have seen on our screens over the last 4 weeks, to realize that each experience will only be a gift of self-recognition. The agony and extacy of playing a game in space and time. Time the tool to remember who I Am.

This is the final point to which each one must come at last, to lay aside all hope of finding happiness where there is none; of being saved by what can only hurt; of making peace of chaos, joy of pain, and Heaven out of hell. Attempt no more to win through losing, nor to die to live. You cannot but be asking for defeat.

Yet you can ask as easily for love, for happiness, and for eternal life in peace that has no ending. Ask for this, and you can only win. To ask for what you have already must succeed. To ask that what is false be true can only fail. Forgive yourself for vain imaginings, and seek no longer what you cannot find. For what could be more foolish than to seek and seek and seek again for hell, when you have but to look with open eyes to find that Heaven lies before you, through a door that opens easily to welcome you?

Joel Goldsmit and his ideas

If we maintain truth consciously active in our consciousness, however, we shall ultimately arrive at a place where the activity of truth will come into our consciousness of its own accord, and then thereafter we shall be fed by it instead of our feeding our mind with it.

We shall find ourselves awakening in the morning and consciously remembering:

" This is the day which the Lord hath made" This is God’s day, and God’s function is to be with me to guide, lead, direct, support, maintain and feed me. "Thou will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee"

Right now my mind is stayed on God, and I acknowledge God in all my ways.

I acknowledge God as the divine Presence of this day; I acknowledge God as that which gives us our sunshine, our rain, our food, our inventions, art, literature, and music.

I acknowledge God as the source of all that is.

Interpretation

Perhaps it will be helpful to remember that no one can be angry at a fact. It is always an interpretation that gives rise to negative emotions, regardless of their seeming justification by what appears as facts.

Regardless, too, of the intensity of the anger that is aroused. It may be merely slight irritation, perhaps too mild to be even clearly recognized.

Or it may also take the form of intense rage, accompanied by thoughts of violence, fantasied or apparently acted out. It does not matter.

All of these reactions are the same. They obscure the truth, and this can never be a matter of degree. Either truth is apparent, or it is not. It cannot be partially recognized. Who is unaware of truth must look upon illusions.
