A Quickening
A commitment to one purpose and function is a speed up of my decision making repertoire.
No gap exists, no doubt, all is included. a quickening of ideas, to remember the Kingdom, no matter its form, one decision its for the purpose of my seeming journey of a dream in space and time.
This is the Holy Week and as teachers of God we are aware clearly to move through these days of idolisation of pain, to 'BE' the quickening pace of demonstrating: "Jesus is risen" and only that idsea is worthy in this week.
Quicken our footsteps now, that we may walk more certainly and quickly unto You. And we accept the Word You offer us to unify our practicing, as we review the thoughts that You have given us.
This is the thought which should precede the thoughts that we review.
Each one but clarifies some aspect of this thought, or helps it be more meaningful, more personal and true, and more descriptive of the holy Self we share and now prepare to know again: God is but Love, and therefore so am I.
This Self alone knows love. This Self alone is perfectly consistent in Its thoughts; knows Its Creator, understands Itself, is perfect in Its knowledge and Its love, and never changes from Its constant state of union with Its Father and Itself.

Arrived in Jerusalem
I have arrived through the acceptance of the message of Jesus in Jerusalem, the Holy City. And here I am reminded to remember that there is no purpose in ac.ting out the symbolism of the journey to the cross.
That symbolic journey has already been perfectly fullfilled by our Lord Jesus Christ for all mankind. It requires only a personal acceptance that will be the light of its extension as joy and peace
The journey to the cross should be the last "useless journey." Do not dwell upon it, but dismiss it as accomplished. If you can accept it as your own last useless journey, you are also free to join my resurrection.
Until you do so your life is indeed wasted. It merely re-enacts the separation, the loss of power, the futile attempts of the ego at reparation, and finally the crucifixion of the body, or death. Such repetitions are endless until they are voluntarily given up.
Do not make the pathetic error of "clinging to the old rugged cross." The only message of the crucifixion is that you can overcome the cross. Until then you are free to crucify yourself as often as you choose.
This is not the Gospel I intended to offer you. We have another journey to undertake, and if you will read these lessons carefully they will help prepare you to undertake it.

Prayers
There is no way to pray other than to make of oneself a stillness, a quietness, a peacefulness, and a listening ear.
Prayer that contains words and thoughts meant to reach God is not really prayer at all.
True prayer has neither words nor thoughts because it has no desires except one – to know God’s will, to know Him aright, to be a fitting instrument for His grace.
With that one exception, prayer is a desireless state of being. It is one in which this inner stillness waits for God’s will to be known and made evident.
Prayer is an inner stillness that waits for God’s thoughts – “for my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways.” Therefore, let us be still with our thoughts and our ways, and let us hear God’s thoughts and, by listening, let us come to know God’s ways. ( Joel Goldsmith)

Completed Adam
The Course in Miracles brings only to my attention that the world as I have made in the idea of being seperate from God as my father is over, accomplished.
Jesus is the first man to know and teach the new Mind, the Christ Mind.
He declared "My Father in heaven is my cause and I as His Son am its effect immediatly"
When Adam listened to the "lies of the serpent," all he heard was untruth.
You do not have to continue to believe what is not true unless you choose to do so. All that can literally disappear in the twinkling of an eye because it is merely a misperception. What is seen in dreams seems to be very real.
Yet the Bible says that a deep sleep fell upon Adam, and nowhere is there reference to his waking up. The world has not yet experienced any comprehensive reawakening or rebirth. Such a rebirth is impossible as long as you continue to project or miscreate.

( from Gurdjieff) A thought system can move into higher or lower vibrations, like jacobs ladder
But a complete parallel between man and the world can only be drawn if we take 'man' in the full sense of the word, that is, a man whose inherent powers are developed. An undeveloped man, a man who has not completed the course of his evolution, cannot be taken as a complete picture or plan of the universe—he is an unfinished world.
If I cannot accept the idea:" I Am as God created Me" I am an unfinished world that has to return again and again to the past as the value of the past is drawing me back. I am dreaming a dream of appearances.
I am attracted to the old Adam and its split condition as space and time.
No, no longer do I will to play that game

A Comfort
The comfort when waking in the morning and instantly remembering the ideas of love and power that A Course in Miracles represents as a magnificent document is pure joy and peace.
It is myself waiting to be embraced again, a new day, a new me. All is waiting to be revealed, a plan not of my making.
Be comforted. You are not asked to do anything. There is a time when to step back is all that is asked of you. It is a time of rest and not of strain; a time of peace and not a time of conflict.
That time is almost here. It seems fearful because it is not under your control. But think a minute; stop and think honestly about what your control has done; what it has brought to you.
You have been caught in a trap from which you never could escape. Conflict, guilt and fear have come with you and never left your side.
Each one of you has done this differently, yet each has come to the same place; the same impasse. And now it seems to each of you that there is no escape.
For it is true that you cannot escape alone. Your stories seem to differ, for they do take different forms. Yet their one content makes you brothers. Dwell not upon the differences or you are lost. It is in recognizing the common content; the common need, that you are save!

Simplicity
The simplicity to connect each day with the lessons of the workbook, is that precious moment to be aware of another world.
The ideas of the workbook and lesson of the day, gives the day another vibration, a lifting momentum of seeing every form of this dream in another light.
I close my eyes and taste the words as a communion with Jesus as myself, and know a presence is present to guide my footsteps.
The strenght of the language that A Course in Miracles brings to my attention is an ever renewing consciousness of Self.
Only the Holy Spirit knows what you need. For He will give you all things that do not block the way to light. And what else could you need? In time, He gives you all the things that you need have, and will renew them as long as you have need of them. He will take nothing from you as long as you have any need of it.
And yet He knows that everything you need is temporary, and will but last until you step aside from all your needs and realize that all of them have been fulfilled. Therefore He has no investment in the things that He supplies, except to make certain that you will not use them on behalf of lingering in time.
He knows that you are not at home there, and He wills no delay to wait upon your joyous homecoming.
Leave, then, your needs to Him. He will supply them with no emphasis at all upon them. What comes to you of Him comes safely, for He will ensure it never can become a dark spot, hidden in your mind and kept to hurt you.
Under His guidance you will travel light and journey lightly, for His sight is ever on the journey's end, which is His goal. God's Son is not a traveller through outer worlds.
However holy his perception may become, no world outside himself holds his inheritance. Within himself he has no needs, for light needs nothing but to shine in peace, and from itself to let the rays extend in quiet to infinity.
Whenever you are tempted to undertake a useless journey that would lead away from light, remember what you really want, and say:
The Holy Spirit leads me unto Christ, and where else would I go? What need have I but to awake in Him?

I am Worthy
The idea of not yet being worthy is all the time and space left in a mind that prefers the idea of getting ready. That time line of denial is without end, like a causal loop designed to repeat again and again.
Our special function is recognition of the dreamn as a dreamer appearing over and over again in the same role
Our message of A Course in Miracles tells us in many ideas, that it is arrogant to prepare myself to receive the Love of God.
That only in the declaration "I Am Worthy" that I can know who I Am, and be its extension of Light and Power to the Sonship.
No force except your own will is strong enough or worthy enough to guide you. In this you are as free as God, and must remain so forever.
Let us ask the Father in my name to keep you mindful of His Love for you and yours for Him. He has never failed to answer this request, because it asks only for what He has already willed.
Those who call truly are always answered. Thou shalt have no other gods before Him because there are none.
I who am host to God am worthy of Him.
He Who established His dwelling place in
me created it as He would have it be.
It is not needful that I make it ready for Him,
but only that I do not interfere with His
plan to restore to me my own awareness of my
readiness, which is eternal.
I need add nothing to His plan.
But to receive it, I must be willing not to
substitute my own in place of it.
And that is all. Add more, and you will merely take away the little that is asked.
Remember you made guilt, and that your plan for the escape from guilt has been to bring Atonement to it, and make salvation fearful. And it is only fear that you will add, if you prepare yourself for love.
The preparation for the holy instant belongs to Him Who gives it. Release yourself to Him Whose function is release. Do not assume His function for Him. Give Him but what He asks, that you may learn how little is your part, and how great is His.

Practice the Presence of God
No matter how greatly I experience an expansion in the idea of God as a Father and Son my mind will always be staggered by the unreaveled infinity.
This never ending opening to greater vistas of what is already waiting to be received is a power that moves me.
Practising the presence of God is a simple recognition of the substance and action of is what Life Is.
The workbook lessons are its beginning to train an undisciplined to remember.
My joy lies in that it is working, the memory of God is ever present in all the configuration of my appearances in the dream of waking
To be alone is to be separated from infinity, but how can this be if infinity has no end?
No one can be beyond the limitless, because what has no limits must be everywhere.
There are no beginnings and no endings in God, Whose universe is Himself.
Can you exclude yourself from the universe, or from God Who is the universe?
I and my Father are one with you, for you are part of us. Do you really believe that part of God can be missing or lost to Him?

Ideas
In all the history of man's awareness that their is a higher power, God, Love, Power, he has received and is receiving messages to awaken from a dream, to reveal what he has forgotten but can be rememberd through the Holy Spirit.
From the beginning of time God gave an answer, there must be a way in which your problems are resolved, for what He wills already has been done.
God's Will does not oppose. It merely is. It is not God you have imprisoned in your plan to lose your Self. He does not know about a plan so alien to His Will.
There was a need He did not understand, to which He gave an Answer. That is all. And you who have this Answer given you have need no more of anything but This.
Thus it must be that time is not involved and every problem can be answered now. Yet it must also be that, in your state of mind, solution is impossible. Therefore, God must have given you a way of reaching to another state of mind in which the answer is already there. Such is the holy instant.
( some ideas from the Urantia book)
Partaking of a common meal was the earliest type of social communion, and so did early religions provide that some portion of the ceremonial sacrifice should be eaten by the worshipers.
Even in Christianity the Lord’s Supper retains this mode of communion. The atmosphere of the communion provides a refreshing and comforting period of truce in the conflict of the self-seeking ego with the altruistic urge of the indwelling spirit Monitor.
And this is the prelude to true worship — the practice of the presence of God which eventuates in the emergence of the brotherhood of man.
When primitive man felt that his communion with God had been interrupted, he resorted to sacrifice of some kind in an effort to make atonement, to restore friendly relationship.
The hunger and thirst for righteousness leads to the discovery of truth, and truth augments ideals, and this creates new problems for the individual religionists, for our ideals tend to grow by geometrical progression, while our ability to live up to them is enhanced only by arithmetical progression.
The sense of guilt (not the consciousness of sin) comes either from interrupted spiritual communion or from the lowering of one’s moral ideals.
Deliverance from such a predicament can only come through the realization that one’s highest moral ideals are not necessarily synonymous with the will of God.
Man cannot hope to live up to his highest ideals, but he can be true to his purpose of finding God and becoming more and more like him.
Jesus swept away all of the ceremonials of sacrifice and atonement. He destroyed the basis of all this fictitious guilt and sense of isolation in the universe by declaring that man is a child of God; the creature-Creator relationship was placed on a child-parent basis.
God becomes a loving Father to his mortal sons and daughters. All ceremonials not a legitimate part of such an intimate family relationship are forever abrogated.
God the Father deals with man his child on the basis, not of actual virtue or worthiness, but in recognition of the child’s motivation — the creature purpose and intent. The relationship is one of parent-child association and is actuated by divine love.

The Finca De Milagro
A new moment has arrived in all its splendor here at The Finca De-Milagro. Together as teachers from everywhere around this dream we experienced a bright shift of our own self-awareness.
A deepening and joy that all ideas of A Course in Miracles are fulfilled again, and now a new momentum is awaiting our recognition and acceptance.
A calmness and peace that is so filled with a quit certainty of the lesson 50 " I Am Sustained by the Love of God"
The weather has turned from icy to balmy, the sun is back, powerfully and warm, the birds are busy making nests and the fields of grass are filled with an abundance with yellow flowers. And we are so grateful.
Forgiveness is the central theme that runs throughout salvation, holding all its parts in meaningful relationships, the course it runs directed and its outcome sure. And now we ask for grace, the final gift salvation can bestow. Experience that grace provides will end in time, for grace foreshadows Heaven, yet does not replace the thought of time but for a little while.
The interval suffices. It is here that miracles are laid; to be returned by you from holy instants you receive, through grace in your experience, to all who see the light that lingers in your face. What is the face of Christ but his who went a moment into timelessness, and brought a clear reflection of the unity he felt an instant back to bless the world? How could you finally attain to it forever, while a part of you remains outside, unknowing, unawakened, and in need of you as witness to the truth?
Be grateful to return, as you were glad to go an instant, and accept the gifts that grace provided you. You carry them back to yourself. And revelation stands not far behind. Its coming is ensured. We ask for grace, and for experience that comes from grace. We welcome the release it offers everyone. We do not ask for the unaskable. We do not look beyond what grace can give. For this we can give in the grace that has been given us.

Schopenhauer on The Will of God
The philospher Schopenhauer concludes in his book “The World as Will and Representation” that we create the violent state of nature, for he maintains that the individuation that we impose upon things, imposed upon a blind striving energy that, once it becomes individuated and objectified turns against itself, consumes itself, and does violence to itself.
His paradigm image is of the bulldog-ant of Australia, which when cut in half, struggles in a battle to the death between its head and tail.
Our very quest for scientific and practical knowledge creates a world that feasts upon itself. This marks the origin of Schopenhauer's renowned pessimism: he claims that as individuals, we are the unfortunate products of our own epistemological making, and that within the world of appearances that we structure, we are fated to fight with other individuals, and to want more than we can ever have.
( A Course in Miracles)
There is no substitute for the Will of God. In simple statement, it is to this fact that the teacher of God devotes his day.
Each substitute he may accept as real can but deceive him. But he is safe from all deception if he so decides.
Perhaps he needs to remember, "God is with me. I cannot be deceived." Perhaps he prefers other words, or only one, or none at all.
Yet each temptation to accept magic as true must be abandoned through his recognition, not that it is fearful, not that it is sinful, not that it is dangerous, but merely that it is meaningless.
Rooted in sacrifice and separation, two aspects of one error and no more, he merely chooses to give up all that he never had.
And for this "sacrifice" is Heaven restored to his awareness

Readiness
I have already briefly spoken about readiness, but some additional points might be helpful here.
Readiness is only the prerequisite for accomplishment. The two should not be confused. As soon as a state of readiness occurs, there is usually some degree of desire to accomplish, but it is by no means necessarily undivided.
The state does not imply more than a potential for a change of mind. Confidence cannot develop fully until mastery has been accomplished.
We have already attempted to correct the fundamental error that fear can be mastered, and have emphasized that the only real mastery is through love. Readiness is only the beginning of confidence.
You may think this implies that an enormous amount of time is necessary between readiness and mastery, but let me remind you that time and space are under my control.
I who am host to God am worthy of Him.
He Who established His dwelling place in
me created it as He would have it be.
It is not needful that I make it ready for Him,
but only that I do not interfere with His
plan to restore to me my own awareness of my
readiness, which is eternal.

But to receive it, I must be willing not to

And that is all. Add more, and you will merely take away the little that is asked.

Commitment
Commitment in space and time is to adhere to a value system that is asleep. All action from that ignorance is a mechanical action, acted out in an unawareness of cause and effect.
It is a state of mind that has absorbed a collection of data over a lenght of time and now reaches a point of collapse, as there is no time and space left to re-arrange any more the appearances called this world.
All those concepts, begin to bring a pressure about to let them go, release me is the cry, set me free as these old ideas are beginning to render a black hole in which you can depart to another world.
Nothing has occured but that you have accomplished a journey that is now reached a point of departure to a a state of Mind that is ready to receive you.
What is a commitment but the declaration:" I am ready. Here I Am" to see lessons 70-71-72 as bridges of light in crossing over.
"Miracles as true perception"
I have stated that the basic concepts referred to in this course are not matters of degree. Certain fundamental concepts cannot be understood in terms of opposites.
It is impossible to conceive of light and darkness or everything and nothing as joint possibilities. They are all true or all false.
It is essential that you realize your thinking will be erratic until a firm commitment to one or the other is made.
A firm commitment to darkness or nothingness, however, is impossible.
No one has ever lived who has not experienced some light and some thing. No one, therefore, is able to deny truth totally, even if he thinks he can.
It is a state of mind that has absorbed a collection of data over a lenght of time and now reaches a point of collapse, as there is no time and space left to re-arrange any more the appearances called this world.

The function of truth is to collect information that is true.
As an indviduals I am a store house of information, I have in time and space assembled data, ideas of bits and pieces, fragments of opinions, like a collection that finally had to collapse on itself.
I have measured endlessly space and time and found it wanting. I measured all appearances and forgot that I am an appearance as well, and so could not ever find relieve from this dance of insanity.
Knowledge is ever ready to come into my awareness, but when my storehouse is full there is no room for the Christ to be born.
The immense degree of energy to hold my capacity as the past together is now seen as finally what it is. That madness is no longer my choice.
The extent of the teacher of God's faithfulness is the measure of his advancement in the curriculum. Does he still select some aspects of his life to bring to his learning, while keeping others apart?
If so, his advancement is limited, and his trust not yet firmly established. Faithfulness is the teacher of God's trust in the Word of God to set all things right; not some, but all.
Generally, his faithfulness begins by resting on just some problems, remaining carefully limited for a time. To give up all problems to one Answer is to reverse the thinking of the world entirely.
And that alone is faithfulness. Nothing but that really deserves the name. Yet each degree, however small, is worth achieving. Readiness, as the text notes, is not mastery.
True faithfulness, however, does not deviate. Being consistent, it is wholly honest. Being unswerving, it is full of trust.
Being based on fearlessness, it is gentle. Being certain, it is joyous. And being confident, it is tolerant. Faithfulness, then, combines in itself the other attributes of God's teachers. It implies acceptance of the Word of God and His definition of His Son.
It is to Them that faithfulness in the true sense is always directed. Toward Them it looks, seeking until it finds.
Defenselessness attends it naturally, and joy is its condition. And having found, it rests in quiet certainty on That alone to Which all faithfulness is due.

God expressing Himself
As harmony, wholeness, completeness, perfection, dominion, power, joy, and peace. Like walking in sunshine, we walk in this environment of the gifts of God, they come with us wherever we go.
Denial makes no difference, these gifts are there, no just for the asking but to give thanks for their presence.
To give thanks for their presence is what giving and receiving is, and to extend the Kingdom.
To be asleep in their presence will not harm these gifts of God, these vibrations, these rays are ever awaiting their recognition as the only action of my mind worthy of it.
Yet in his lonely, senseless wanderings, God's gifts go with him, all unknown to him. He cannot lose them.
But he will not look at what is given him. He wanders on, aware of the futility he sees about him everywhere, perceiving how his little lot but dwindles, as he goes ahead to nowhere.
Still he wanders on in misery and poverty, alone though God is with him, and a treasure his so great that everything the world contains is valueless before its magnitude.
The Holy Spirit is the motivation for miracle-mindedness; the decision to heal the separation by letting it go.
Your will is still in you because God placed it in your mind, and although you can keep it asleep you cannot obliterate it.
God Himself keeps your will alive by transmitting it from His Mind to yours as long as there is time.
The miracle itself is a reflection of this union of will between Father and Son.

My salvation comes from me.
The seeming cost of accepting today's idea is this: It means that nothing outside yourself can save you; nothing outside yourself can give you peace.
But it also means that nothing outside yourself can hurt you, or disturb your peace or upset you in any way.
Today's idea places you in charge of the universe, where you belong because of what you are. This is not a role that can be partially accepted.
And you must surely begin to see that accepting it is salvation.
Everything that occurs is not only usable and workable but is actually the journey itself. I can use everything that happens to me as the means for waking up, not the form but the content is the same. in any conflicting emotion and thoughts or seemingly outer situation to show me where Iam in denial and waking without reservation.
in that awkward, ambigious moment is my wisdom mind as God created me. right there in the uncertainty of everyday's seeming chaos is the knowledge He is Love.
Carlos Castaneda
“To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other.””
“Only as a warrior can one withstand the path of knowledge. A warrior cannot complain or regret anything. His life is an endless challenge, and challenges cannot possibly be good or bad. Challenges are simply challenges.””

A New Day
Mind is ever active and awake, and without the tool of the workbook lessons of A Course in Miracles and the personal acceptance of the active presence of Jesus as my savior, there is no way to return an undisciplined mind to the experience of single source.
The workbook lessons, thoughts‐as‐power, thoughts‐as‐strength, thoughts‐as‐light are a genuine personal relationship with Jesus and every lesson re-enters into that single relationship as a new word spoken with my savior.
Each lesson entered into, performs, carries out an exercise whereby I am returning the power of my mind to listen; “ Stand you still awhile, and tremble not.” an attitude of open‐mindedness, which occupies no space but which, in a sense, creates a new space in the very 'place' in which it is carried out.
Determination and perseverance, with the ideas of the workbook are my key to see the nightmare of time and space into a new bright realization through the act of forgiveness.
No matter what the condition, situation, event, or relationship is that brings me to opening the workbook and reading the lessons.
The strength of the lessons is not just a saying, but also a gathering, a doing, an action of application to the condition in which I find myself. There is anticipation for whatever the lesson and its application will reveal as originating from a single source “God in action through His Son.”
The morning star of this new day looks on a different world where God is welcomed and His Son with Him. We who complete Him offer thanks to Him, as He gives thanks to us. The Son is still, and in the quiet God has given him enters his home and is at peace at last.

Appearances
Each day the Teachers of God appear in the role of being responsible for the figures in the dream. Each one appears and fulfills this role as it is given for the day exactly as it comes and goes.
Nothing to question, each instant a recognition that all is just an appearance.
My function is to remember that I am an appearance in a dream to be the witness that all appearances have already appeared again and again, and will appear untill I see its nothingness.
Appearances deceive because they are appearances and not reality. Dwell not on them in any form.
And so we find our peace. We will accept the function God has given us, for all illusions rest upon the weird belief that we can make another for ourselves.
Our self-made roles are shifting, and they seem to change from mourner to ecstatic bliss of love and loving. We can laugh or weep, and greet the day with welcome or with tears.
Our very being seems to change as we experience a thousand shifts in mood, and our emotions raise us high indeed, or dash us to the ground in hopelessness.
They but obscure reality, and they bring fear because they hide the truth. Do not attack what you have made to let you be deceived, for thus you prove that you have been deceived.
Attack has power to make illusions real. Yet what it makes is nothing. Who could be made fearful by a power that can have no real effects at all? What could it be but an illusion, making things appear like to itself?
Look calmly at its toys, and understand that they are idols which but dance to vain desires. Give them not your worship, for they are not there. Yet this is equally forgotten in attack. God's Son needs no defense against his dreams.
His idols do not threaten him at all. His one mistake is that he thinks them real. What can the power of illusions do?
Appearances can but deceive the mind that wants to be deceived. And you can make a simple choice that will forever place you far beyond deception.
You need not concern yourself with how this will be done, for this you cannot understand. But you will understand that mighty changes have been quickly brought about, when you decide one very simple thing; you do not want whatever you believe an idol gives.
For thus the Son of God declares that he is free of idols. And thus is he free.
Nothing to question, each instant a recognition that all is just an appearance.

When everything falls apart, and I feel the ground beneath me disolve it is then that I look with gentleness and clarity at myself. I see that old pattern taking seemingly charge. It is my thoughts that imprison, and my thoughts that set me free.
These thoughts are only images not a solid immovable personality as if I were Michelangelo chiseling myself out of marble
It is that instant to remember happily:"I am responsible for what I see.
I choose the feelings I experience, and I decide upon the goal I would achieve.
And everything that seems to happen to me I ask for, and receive as I have asked.
Forgive your brother all appearances, that are but ancient lessons you have taught yourself about the sinfulness in you. Hear but his call for mercy and release from all the fearful images he holds of what he is and of what you must be.
He is afraid to walk with you, and thinks perhaps a bit behind, a bit ahead would be a safer place for him to be.
Can you make progress if you think the same, advancing only when he would step back, and falling back when he would go ahead? For so do you forget the journey's goal, which is but to decide to walk with him, so neither leads nor follows.
Thus it is a way you go together, not alone. And in this choice is learning's outcome changed, for Christ has been reborn to both of you.
His is the only way to find the peace that God has given us. It is His way that everyone must travel in the end, because it is this ending God Himself appointed. In the dream of time it seems to be far off.
And yet, in truth, it is already here; already serving us as gracious guidance in the way to go.
Let us together follow in the way that truth points out to us. And let us be the leaders of our many brothers who are seeking for the way, but find it not.

Embarking on a journey
The workbook lessons of A Course in Miracles are not a vacation from irritation, Working with the energies of all situations, seeing what arises as inseparable from the awakened state, is my purpose and function.
Fear is a universal experience, Even the smallest insect feelks it. I wade in the tidal pools of the ocean and put my finger near the soft open bodies of sea anemones and they close up.
Everything spontaneouly does that. It's not a terrible thing that I feel fear when faced with the unknown. It is a part of being in this dream of self-awareness, fear is a natural reeaction to move close to the truth.
Love of the truth puts me on the spot. This is where gentleness comes in. When things are shaky and nothing is working, I realize that I am on the verge of something new. And I think I be a good friend to myself, and everything will turn friendly.
Lead not your little life in solitude, with one illusion as your only friend. This is no friendship worthy of God's Son, nor one with which he could remain content. Yet God has given him a better Friend, in Whom all power in earth and Heaven rests.
The one illusion that you think is friend obscures His grace and majesty from you, and keeps His friendship and forgiveness from your welcoming embrace. Without Him you are friendless. Seek not another friend to take His place.
There is no other friend. What God appointed has no substitute, for what illusion can replace the truth?
Who dwells with shadows is alone indeed, and loneliness is not the Will of God. Would you allow one shadow to usurp the throne that God appointed for your Friend, if you but realized its emptiness has left yours empty and unoccupied?
Make no illusion friend, for if you do, it can but take the place of Him Whom God has called your Friend. And it is He Who is your only Friend in truth.
He brings you gifts that are not of this world, and only He to Whom they have been given can make sure that you receive them. He will place them on your throne, when you make room for Him on His.

Light of the World
Forgiveness is my function as the light of the world. I would fulfill my function that I may be happy.
Space/time is the great illusion. In its wake comes the inevitable belief that, to be safe, one must control the unknown. This strange belief relies on certain steps which never reach to consciousness.
From A lazy-mans guide to enlightenment)
We are equal beings and the universe is our relations with each other. The universe is made of one kind of entity: each one is alive, each determines the course of his own existence.
That is really all you need to know to understand this book or write your own. Everything I say has its roots in that first paragraph, and it is possible to resolve any question by going back to it and thinking it through for yourself.
The universe is made of one kind of whatever-it-is, which cannot be defined. For our purpose, it isn't necessary to try to define it. All we need to do is assume that there is only one kind of whatever-it-is, and see if it leads to a reasonable explanation for the world as we know it.
The basic function of each being is expanding and contracting. Expanded beings are permeative; contracted beings are dense and impermeative.
Therefore each of us, alone or in combination, may appear as space, energy, or mass, depending on the ratio of expansion to contraction chosen, and what kind of vibrations each of us expresses by alternating expansion and contraction. Each being controls his own vibrations.
A completely expanded being is space. Since expansion is permeative, we can be in the "same space" with one or more other expanded beings. In fact, it is possible for all the entities in the universe to be one space.
We experience expansion as awareness, comprehension, understanding, or whatever we wish to call it. When we are completely expanded, we have a feeling of total awareness, of being one with all life.
At that level we have no resistance to any vibrations or interactions of other beings. It is timeless bliss, with unlimited choice of consciousness, perception, and feeling.
Space is a level of experience that any of us can reach, but it is difficult to talk about on our present plane precisely because it is unlimited. It is that which chooses limits and makes definitions.
We might say: all experiences are available to the One Mind, and the One Mind is all of us or any of us at the highest level of expansion.
Or we might theorize: God could not create anything more limited than Himself that would persist, but if He duplicates Himself, He can enjoy a persistent universe. Each entity, therefore, is a duplicate of God, "made in His image."

Servants of Peace
Is there a place we can learn to be peaceful, a boot camp for spiritual warriors. Well I see this dream of mine as a great and wonderful opportunity to practice peace in all the agonies of space and time.
The opportunities never sees to exist, like a roller coaster ride the requist for peace is ever present, there is no reprieve to take a breath and to say I quite!
What a relieve that nothing but simply nothing is wrong in whatever way or shape. that this is the place I remember my purpose and function as the journey that is not a path but a single memory.
The Holy Spirit is the perfect teacher. He uses only what your mind already understands to teach you that you do not understand it.
The Holy Spirit can deal with a reluctant learner without going counter to his mind, because part of it is still for God. Despite the ego's attempts to conceal this part, it is still much stronger than the ego, although the ego does not recognize it.
The Holy Spirit recognizes it perfectly because it is His Own dwelling place; the place in the mind where He is at home. You are at home there, too, because it is a place of peace, and peace is of God.
You who are part of God are not at home except in His peace. If peace is eternal, you are at home only in eternity.

Your passage through time and space is not at random. You cannot but be in the right place at the right time.
A greatly and wonderful reassuring idea that is given in lesson 42, like in any second in which my mind wanders to another space or time I am denying where I am.
There is no condemnation in him. He is perfect in his holiness. He needs no thoughts of mercy. Who could give him gifts when everything is his? And who could dream of offering forgiveness to the Son of Sinlessness Itself, so like to Him Whose Son he is, that to behold the Son is to perceive no more, and only know the Father?
In this vision of the Son, so brief that not an instant stands between this single sight and timelessness itself, you see the vision of yourself, and then you disappear forever into God.
I recently read an interesting book called: "When things fall apart" which is what they do. And that falling apart is the way, the truth and the live. Fear is a natural reaction for getting closer to the truth.
In our beloved course in miracles in lesson 48 it gives this idea:
"The presence of fear is a sure sign that you are trusting in your own strength. The awareness that there is nothing to fear shows that somewhere in your mind, though not necessarily in a place you recognize as yet, you have remembered God, and let His strength take the place of your weakness. The instant you are willing to do this there is indeed nothing to fear."
Whether I call it dead or live each instant is a rebirth.
Somewhere in this story it deepened to me how oke it is that things fall apart. They cannot not!
The journey of enlightenment is not about finding perfection and bliss a hopeless cycle that goes around endlessly.
To be in a constant acceptance no matter the form is a full time job and takes all my attention, and the wandering off is a happy realization that I have returned right there and then.
Right in the chaos of every day's existence lies awaiting a gentleness, a kindness to myself.
My passage through time and space is not at random. I cannot but be in the right place at the right time.
