Language

A Course in Miracles gives us as Teachers of God, a precise language.
Our language in the fabric of space and time is a symbolic structure and simply has been useless for a very long time to communicate any idea of certainty.

A Course in Miracles language is based on 50 principles which you do not know yet; but as you go on with your acceptance and applications, you will very soon begin to understand them.

With this language it is possible to come nearer to truth, possible to speak with greater precision than we do now, and two people who understand this language will never misunderstand each other in simply all things.

In the holy instant God is remembered, and the language of communication with all your brothers is remembered with Him.

For communication is remembered together, as is truth. There is no exclusion in the holy instant because the past is gone, and with it goes the whole basis for exclusion.

Without its source exclusion vanishes. And this permits your Source, and That of all your brothers, to replace it in your awareness.

Brothers

Believe in your brothers because I believe in you, and you will learn that my belief in you is justified.

Believe in me by believing in them, for the sake of what God gave them. They will answer you if you learn to ask only truth of them.

Do not ask for blessings without blessing them, for only in this way can you learn how blessed you are. By following this way you are seeking the truth in you.

This is not going beyond yourself but toward yourself. Hear only God's Answer in His Sons, and you are answered.

Our common language lets us speak to all our brothers, and to understand with them forgiveness has been given to us all, and thus we can communicate again.

Certainty does not require action

When you say you are acting on the basis of knowledge, you are really confusing knowledge with perception.

Knowledge provides the strength for creative thinking, but not for right doing. Perception, miracles and doing are closely related.

Knowledge is the result of revelation and induces only thought. Even in its most spiritualized form perception involves the body. Knowledge comes from the altar within and is timeless because it is certain.

To perceive the truth is not the same as to know it.

 As in the story of The Wizard of Oz I need simply remember there is no journey to go home  to return to a state of mind called The Kingdom of Heaven.

 The idea of returning in space and time is very attractiveas I will forget that time and space is designed to bring about on that idea of a journey many obstacles.

And so I then think in fighting with the dragons of fear I am achieving some advance towards the idea of awakening. All intellectual activity is preparing material, and then the emotional centre will begin to work with this material. Intellectual centre cannot, by itself, help in awakening.

Only work on the emotional centre can do this, and we can only awake through unpleasant emotions— awakening through pleasant emotions has not been invented yet.

Awakening is not for those who are afraid of unpleasant things, it is only for those who wish to awake and realize what being asleep means and that much help is necessary, a great deal of shaking. This is the real point: how to provide perpetual shaking for oneself and how to agree to it.

Responsibility is an ever widening self-recognition, an inclussion that only brings peace and freedom of those that are willing as the Course in Miracles tells us as Teachers: " The single desire of the Son for the Father."

Let me not seek for idols. I would come, my Father, home to You today. I choose to be as You created me, and find the Son whom You created as my Self.

Listening

Praying is listening. Listening is a reception, an opening, a declaration: "I Am Here" ready to receive and give.

I am a portal through which I am in communion with all that is present in my awareness. How powerfull is that instant of listening and hearing a communication that is timeless.

In stillness we will hear God's Voice today without intrusion of our petty thoughts, without our personal desires, and without all judgment of His holy Word.

We will not judge ourselves today, for what we are can not be judged. We stand apart from all the judgments which the world has laid upon the Son of God. It knows him not.

Today we will not listen to the world, but wait in silence for the Word of God.

Established

Your worth is not established by teaching or learning. Your worth is established by God.

As long as you dispute this everything you do will be fearful, particularly any situation that lends itself to the belief in superiority and inferiority.

Teachers must be patient and repeat their lessons until they are learned. I am willing to do this, because I have no right to set your learning limits for you.

Again, - nothing you do or think or wish or make is necessary to establish your worth. This point is not debatable except in delusions.

Your ego is never at stake because God did not create it. Your spirit is never at stake because He did. Any confusion on this point is delusional, and no form of devotion is possible as long as this delusion lasts.

God has lit your mind Himself, and keeps your mind lit by His Light because His Light is what your mind is.

This is totally beyond question, and when you question it you are answered. The Answer merely undoes the question by establishing the fact that to question reality is to question meaninglessly.

That is why the Holy Spirit never questions. His sole function is to undo the questionable and thus lead to certainty.

The certain are perfectly calm, because they are not in doubt. They do not raise questions, because nothing questionable enters their minds.

The nothingness of error

All mind-training is to be aware, awake to the nothingness of the idea of error. As a human being I am what error is is, shadows playing on space and time.

To want to undo them is a futile exercise as these shadows are made out of ideas that have no source, and change with every whim into another shadow.

It is a new and holy day today, for we receive what has been given us. Our faith lies in the Giver, not our own acceptance.

We acknowledge our mistakes, but He to Whom all error is unknown is yet the One Who answers our mistakes by giving us the means to lay them down, and rise to Him in gratitude and love.



And He descends to meet us, as we come to Him. For what He has prepared for us He gives and we receive. Such is His Will, because He loves His Son. To Him we pray today, returning but the word He gave to us through His Own Voice, His Word, His Love:


Your grace is given me. I claim it now.


Father, I come to You. And You will come to me who ask.


I am the Son You love.
